What is the program?
You’ve learned how to jump safely on your own – now it’s time to land safer too!
The SASPC Canopy Subsidy Program supports new jumpers to build confidence and control under canopy with dedicated 1-on-1 coaching.
It's designed to help you improve your flight skills, make safer landings, and feel more comfortable in the sky – especially when sharing airspace with others.
SASPC Members who join for the first time and are B Certificate or below are eligible to apply. The Club will cover the coaches slot (for valid AFF-I or Canopy Coaches) and you will jump with direct communciations and learn about your canopy.
How do I apply for the program?
Be a new SASPC Member, either at Certificate B level or below
Find an appropriate AFF Instructor or Canopy Coach who can provide the communciations equipment. Need help? Ask the committee!
Email the committee to confirm your plans and you will receive a confirmation back.
