CAMERA FLYING REQUIREMENTS

SO YOU WANNA BE A CAMERA FLIER?

It has been asked as to the committee "how do I become a camera flier for the SASPC events?".

The club has taken a new direction in how they qualify a camera person to be. We're starting to steer away from persons looking for their slots covered merely because they have a camera on their head and in turn producing a sub par product. The product of which doesn't benefit the event with debriefable or artistic content and doesn't benefit the club with content to use on our social media.

We are a non-profit club so we do want to see some sort of return in form of material we can use to promote the club. So persons who are going to go above and beyond and can deliver us more than they are receiving or more than other fliers can offer will have more of an advantage.

More importantly we want to support and promote our SASPC members, priority will be given to those who are already members, have supported the club, approached us or are showing inspiring potential.

In order to gain access to the privilege of flying camera and having your slots covered at the SASPC ran events the club has come up with a criteria as to what we are looking for from a camera person!
